In profile: I’m a Photojournalist and documentary film maker seeking an Asian women friend who is willing to share her culture and experience with the possibility of a long term relationship. My life has been serendipitous. I’ve gone with the flow and go where it takes me. "I’ve taken the path less traveled by, and that made all the difference."R.F.. At the moment my life is in a holding pattern like a plane orbiting in the sky above airport waiting for the signal to land. I’m waiting on assignment as a Photojournalist and documentary film maker to Iraq. For the past two years I was studying screen writing, film production, and editing at Boston University and had intended to continue. I’m occupied by little more than watchful waiting, and a paper chase with a little ingenuity thrown in. Its catch Twenty Two in order to get visa’s I need passport. In order to get a passport I need a plane ticket to Jordan which costs a grand up front and which I would lose if I’m not granted a visa or its granting takes me beyond the flight date. I realized now is a good to use this time to make friends. find much to learn and admire in Asian culture. Particularly, in such countries as China and Japan. Because of my profession I have worked and traveled extensively throughout Asia for the past 20 years as a result I have acquired an admiration and respect for Asian culture in general and Asian women in particular. The teachings of Gigong that I studied in China and those of tantric yoga I studied in Tibet have resonated in helping me to find the way. For instance, in Japanese culture as embodied in the cherry blossom festival is shared by and available to all, as opposed to an occidental culture. I think that Chinese women are the most beautiful on earth, you certainly are proof of that. Last time I went to China with half a billion beautiful women I thought I’d died and gone to heaven until I found out ,with the possible exception of Beijing they all get married by the time there twenty- one so the government can get their jobs as part of the 50 million new jobs they have to supply each year. Regrettably, because of the tight scheduling and intense focus of my work I have had almost no opportunity to develop long term relationships. I find life a great adventure but one that loses much of its value when it is not shared with others. I’m initially looking to make friends until we know each other better. If I meet someone, a prior set of expectations can be prescription for disappointment.. then success or failure is to a large extent predetermined. If we meet unfettered by expectations then we are free to explore the others mystery to be open to their uniqueness and what they may. I have not tried to mold life to conform with set of apriory expectations.. Then a relationship like clear water is free to seek its level. We love the things we love for what they are. If one expects roses and receives anemones should one be disappointed?  I look forward to hearing from you soon, particularly about your child. I think there is much we could share.
